This is my 1st year teaching and my 1th year teaching at Barton High School. I earned my BS from Howard University and majored in Biology. I am currently attending the Univeristy of Mississippi (Ole Miss) for my master's degree in teaching and curriculum.

Dear Students,
I strive to provide an engaging, enjoyable, yet challenging school year in english.
Writing, projects, labs, and homework are routine procedures in my class.
I will do all I can to make sure each student learns and performs at their potential.
You can expect to work hard, improve your problem- reading skills, sharpen your literacy skills,
and view english in a whole new light.
It is my goal that each student succeeds and develops a life-long appreciation of english .
